To some people, a pinch roller is a pinch roller. A simple machine that does a simple, but essential function in panel laminating. To us, pinch rollers are the core of our Evans business. For 2 years now, they have been our top sellers and we don’t see any reason for that to change now. That said, we thought our machine needed a face lift. Over the past 3 months, we have made multiple changes to the 0257 Pinch Roller and 0207 Pinch Roller design to make is more appealing and more durable. The functionality of the machine and the components are the same, but the look and feel has changed and we thought we would share some pictures to illustrate that point. Below are some pictures of a machine we are shipping to Florida this coming week. Items to note include:
- The new powder coat finish on machine body.
- The extended guard covers for added safety.
- The push button stop has been replaced with an approved “push / pull” E Stop. (upgrade / replacement kits available)
- The guards have a new matte black powder coated finish.
These are all small changes, but in the end we believe that they make our pinch rollers safer and more reliable / durable than previous models and we are excited to hear feedback from the field on how they are received.
